Appointment to the Visit Newport Beach, Inc. Executive Committee
Recommendation
a) Determine that the action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because it will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly;
b) Appoint Scott Calder, Jim Mosher, Briana Verham, or Sharon Wood to fill the scheduled vacancy on the VNB Executive Committee for a term expiring on June 13, 2025; and
c) If Sharon Wood is reappointed and if desired, waive City Council Policy A-2 relative to serving on only one Board, Commission or Committee at a time.
