Resolution No. 2021-122: Initiation of Code Amendments Related to Senate Bill No. 9 (PA2021-277)
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2), 15060(c)(3), and 15262 of the CEQA Guidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, because it has no potential for resulting in physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly; and
b) Adopt Resolution No. 2021-122, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, Initiating Amendments to the General Plan, Coastal Land Use Plan of the Local Coastal Program, and Titles 19 (Subdivisions), 20 (Planning and Zoning), and 21 (Local Coastal Program Implementation Plan) of the Newport Beach Municipal Code Related to the City's Implementation of Senate Bill No. 9 (PA2021-277).
