Approval and Award of Maintenance/Repair Services Agreement with Merchants Landscape Services, Inc. for Landscape Maintenance of Parks and Facilities
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly;
b) Approve a one-year Maintenance/Repair Services Agreement with four automatic one-year extensions with Merchants for the Landscape Maintenance of Parks and Facilities, at a base cost of $1,950,000 per year with an allowance of $600,000 for additional as-needed services; and
c) Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement.
