Budget Amendment to Accept a Check from the Friends of the Newport Beach Library and Appropriate Funds to the Library’s Fiscal Year 2021-22 Maintenance and Operation Budget
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly; and
b) Accept a check in the amount of $200,000 from the Friends of the Newport Beach Library and approve Budget Amendment No. 22-004 to increase expenditures by the same amount in Division 0106052 (Friends of the Library).
