Approval of Professional Services Agreement with LPA, Inc. for Police Headquarters Architectural Services - Contract No. 10129-1
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly; and
b) Approve a Professional Services Agreement with LPA, Inc. for Newport Beach Police Headquarters Architectural Services for a total not-to-exceed amount of $12,459,820, authorize LPA, Inc. to proceed with Conceptual Design (Phase 1a) of the Scope of Work for a total not-to-exceed amount of $713,080, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Agreement.
