Title

Resolution Adopting Recommended Revisions to the City of Newport Beach Municipal Code

 

Recommendation

At the February 11, 2026 Harbor Commission meeting, Commissioners agreed to recommendations of the City of Newport Beach Municipal Code and directed staff return with a resolution reflecting the recommended changes.

 

This action will adopt the resolution.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

1.                     Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly; and

 

2.                     Approve staff recommendation to adopt Harbor Commission Resolution HC2026-1 reflecting recommended revisions to the City of Newport Beach Municipal Code
