Ratifying an Emergency Expenditure Related to Tropical Storm Rachel
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is statutorily exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15269 of the CEQA Guidelines, California Code of Regulations Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, Article 18, which pertains to emergency projects, including specific actions necessary to prevent or mitigate an emergency; and
b) Review and ratify the emergency expenditure of up to $217,216.78 for services provided by Beador Construction Company, Inc. in response to Tropical Storm Rachel pursuant to City Council Policy F-14.
