Resolution No. 2026-34: Annual Measure M2 Eligibility Submittal
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly;
b) Adopt the Measure M2 Seven-Year Capital Improvement Program;
c) Adopt Resolution No. 2026-34, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, Concerning the Update of the Local Signal Synchronization Plan for the Measure M2 Program; and
d) Direct staff to submit all necessary materials to the Orange County Transportation Authority to satisfy the FY 2026-27 Measure M2 annual eligibility requirements.
