Resolution No. 2026-32: Authorizing the Temporary Closure of Selected Streets for the Fourth of July Holiday Period
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly; and
b) Adopt Resolution No. 2026-32, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, Authorizing the Temporary Closure of Back Bay Drive, the 100 Block of Orange Street from Traffic Off of Pacific Coast Highway, San Joaquin Hills Road Between Back Bay Drive and the Entrance to the Park Newport Apartment Complex, and Via Malaga between Via Oporto and Via Lido.
