Approval of Professional Services Agreement with Marine Taxonomic Services, LTD for Newport Harbor Shallow and Deep Water Eelgrass Surveys
Recommendation
a) Find this project exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly; and
b) Approve a Professional Services Agreement with Marine Taxonomic Services, LTD for Newport Harbor Shallow Water and Deep Water Eelgrass Surveys for a total not-to-exceed amount of $173,424.60, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement.
