Fiscal Year 2026-27 Traffic Signal Rehabilitation Project - Award of Contract No. 10209-1 (27T01)
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly;
b) Approve the project plans and specifications;
c) Award Contract No. 10209-1 to International Line Builders, Inc. for the total bid price of $847,324 for the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Traffic Signal Rehabilitation Project, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the contract; and
d) Establish a contingency of $212,000 (approximately 25% of total bid) to cover the cost of including necessary field exploration work and the purchase of the long lead-time equipment for a new four-way signal on Via Lido between the Lido Marina and Lido Plaza, as well as any unforeseen work in the original contract.
