Resolution No. 2026-85: Amending the Staffing Structure of the City Manager’s Office and the Municipal Operations Department
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly;
b) Approve the following changes to employee positions and assignments: (i) eliminate one full-time Management Fellow position from the City Manager’s Office; and (ii) add one full-time Assistant Management Analyst position to the Municipal Operations Department; and
c) Adopt Resolution No. 2026-85, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, Amending the Staffing Structure of the City Manager’s Office and the Municipal Operations Department.
