Approval of the Lecture Hall Auditorium Naming Rights Agreement
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly;
b) Approve the Newport Beach Public Lecture Hall Naming Rights Donation Agreement between the City of Newport Beach and the Newport Beach Public Library Foundation for the naming of the auditorium; and
c) Waive City Council Policy B-9, Naming of City Parks and Facilities and City Council Policy B-17, Parks, Facilities, and Recreation Program Donations, for the naming of the auditorium.
