City Park Signage Discussion
Recommendation
Staff recommends the Parks, Beaches and Recreation (PB&R) Commission consider and discuss different options to review and possibly update current park signage standards.
One potential option for discussion is establishing a special ad hoc subcommittee. If established, this subcommittee would ideally review the issue for a pre-determined period of time, and then make a recommendation to the full Commission at a public meeting for review and potential recommendation to Staff.
Should the Commission choose to pursue this strategy, along with selecting the participating Commissioners, Staff also recommends the Commission consider providing specific, achievable, relevant and time-bound directions to the subcommittee to help ensure an effective and productive result.
