Special Trees Replacement/Removal Request - 1701/1715 Starlight Circle and 1806 Glenwood Lane (Special City Trees)
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Parks, Beaches, and Recreation (PB&R) Commission approve the removal and replacement request of the Special City Lemon-Scented Gum Eucalyptus trees (Corymbia citriodora) located at 1701, 1715 Starlight Circle and 1806 Glenwood Lane, respectively. Staff’s request meets the procedural requirements for reforestation established in Section IV. A of City Council Policy G-1 - Retention, Removal, and Maintenance of City Trees (G-1 Policy). If approved by the PB&R Commission, there will be a one-for-one replacement tree, 36-inch box, Australian Willow (Geijera parviflora) installed at the City’s cost.
