Authorization for Michael Baker International to Complete Final Construction Documents for the Balboa Island Street and Drainage Improvements (Project No. 22R13)
Recommendation
a) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly; and
b) Authorize Michael Baker International to proceed with preparation of final construction documents, prepare permit applications, and provide construction services (Tasks 3, 4 and 5) of the professional services agreement, Contract No. 8846-1, previously approved by the City Council on July 26, 2022.
